A parent myself
I have had the pleasure of over 20 years experience working with parents and carers and helping them through the challenges of family life. I have held varied roles in schools including headteacher, SenCo, behaviour lead and parenting lead and it has been clear from my experience that every family is different and every family face their own particular hurdles. I know that parents or carers often search for answers about how best to do things; whether this is about knowing how to get children to do what you need them to do on a daily basis, negotiating parental separation and how to limit impact on children, how to include an older child when a new baby arrives or how to help a child with ADHD thrive. I have helped families achieve calm and contentment in these situations and many more, and I can help you too. I have a masters degree in Psychology, so have good knowledge of evidenced based practice when supporting understanding about child behaviour. I also hold a certification in senior mental health leaderships in schools and am a trauma informed practitioner. I have practical experience of supporting families who have neurodivergent children, children who have had difficult early experiences or suffered mild trauma.
As a parent of teenagers myself, I know the challenges that family life can bring, but I also know how wonderful family life can be when you feel confident and in control of your parenting. I can help you to make simple changes to your parenting, so you too can feel like the happy family that you want to be.
So, get in touch with me and I look forward to meeting you.
